PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. O'Reilly has over 50 years of experience at engineering consulting firms. Prior to co-founding O’Reilly Engineering Group, Mr. O'Reilly managed a team of plumbing, HVAC, and electrical designers and draftsmen at the Columbus branch office of Heapy Engineering, LLC ("Heapy"). Not only did Mr. O'Reilly create this branch office for Heapy, he also established its client base and orchestrated its continual growth over time. As a result of his highly successful development of Heapy's Columbus branch office, Mr. O'Reilly was made a principal/shareholder with the firm. In his leadership role at Heapy, Mr. O'Reilly participated in the concepting, design, and review of projects engineered in the Columbus branch office comprising a vast array of commercial projects including: health care/assisted living facilities, industrial buildings, educational facilities, restaurants, hotels/motels, retail stores, criminal justice facilities, laboratories, office buildings, airport terminals, research facilities, recreational facilities, and churches.
Prior to his leadership role at Heapy, Mr. O’Reilly was a partner with the firm of M. A. Rietzke and Associates Consulting Engineers, and prior to that position, Mr. O’Reilly served as a plumbing and fire protection designer at Helmig-Lienesch Consulting Engineers in Dayton, Ohio.
